- 根據[維基百科](https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/源代码 )，「原始碼」是台灣對"source code"的翻譯。
- 根據[維基百科](https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/软件文档 )，「文件」是台灣對"document"的翻譯。
- 根據[維基百科](https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/搜索引擎 )，「搜尋」是台灣對"search"的翻譯。
- 根據[維基百科](https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/图形用户界面 )，「介面」是台灣對"interface"的翻譯。
- 本文既將"community"翻譯為「社群」，又將"community"翻譯為「社區」，我將其統一為「社群」。
- 本文既將"user"翻譯為「使用者」，又將"user"翻譯為「用戶」，我將其統一為「使用者」。
- 將大多數的「通過」改為「透過」，例如「透過論壇或 IRC 頻道來提供使用者支援服務有增長的趨勢」等用法，因為「透過」是台灣常用的字詞。
- 將146行的「...程序介面...」改為「...程式設計介面...」，更為貼近原文的"programming interface"。
- 將大多能使用https的url從http改為https
